Commercial Software

Our upcoming development project is a task management system called "Nassim".  Most software packages think of task management as a minor part of a calendar, and toss in a simple list manager.  Or else they build an incredibly complex piece of software like Microsoft Project® that offers no benefits to the person actually trying to manage their day to day affairs.  Nassim is built on the belief that task management is in fact the primary application on the desktop, second only in usefulness to your email package.  A proper task management system needs to do far more than manage lists.  It needs to dynamically adjust what your schedule as the day progresses.  It needs to learn from your behavior. It needs to be available at your fingertips, yet never in your way. It needs to track and report on the progress of other people on the network. And of course, it needs to integrate into the rest of your life, both down to your calendar and portable devices, and up to site-wide project management packages such as Microsoft Project® and (our current favorite on the Mac) Merlin.

If you'd like to be notified when Nassim is released, or when a beta version is available, please let us know.

We should note that for the time being, all of our software is Macintosh-based, although some of our developer tools will run on any platform supporting Perl. The initial version of Nassim will be available exclusively on the Mac.
